'What's going on': Scout spots how easily Barca part ways with one particular kind of player

"Over the last 3 years, there have been three young, interesting centre-forwards at Barca at either La Masia or the B team:

"• Iker Bravo, moved to Leverkusen [currently at Real Madrid – Tribuna.com].

"• Ferran Jutgla, moved to Club Brugge.

"And, now, the centre-forward of the U19 team, Victor Barbera, who seems to move to Brugge. What's going on," football scout R.D. tweets.

"When Iker was at Barca, he starred in the youth ranks and showed potential. When Jutgla was given an opportunity, he was impressive in almost every occasion. And, as for Barbera, just watch his performances in the UEFA Youth League. If you already have talent, why giving up," he adds.

Indeed, it is weird to see Barcelona giving few chances to the academy's promising strikers.

Barbera, in particular, has had an amazing goalscoring record with Barcelona U19 this season, scoring 15 goals in 24 matches. In September, he bagged a hat-trick against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Youth League. It is crazy to imagine that he will leave us for free.

Meanwhile, Barca are said to be targeting several Brazilian strikers who - unlike our homegrown talents - would cost us a lot more.
