Gerard Pique has commented on the recent scandal surrounding Ansu Fati after the youngster's father criticized the club for not playing his son enough.
"Football comes from the streets and most footballers are not lucky enough to be prepared. Normally you surround yourself with your family because you trust them, but they have not learned to be a player's manager," Pique said on Gerard Romero's Twitch stream.
Indeed, Bori Fati is one of Ansu's representatives despite not having any prior experience. The youngster's agent is Jorge Mendes but the father seems to be playing an important role in the decision-making too.
Apparently, Fati's intention is to continue at Barcelona but his entourage is pushing for a move as he hasn't been getting enough action at Camp Nou this season.
