Inter Milan enquire about transfer status of Umtiti & 2 other Barca defenders (reliability: 4 stars)

Inter Milan are interested in signing a few defenders from Barcelona in the summer window, claims Sport.

The Italian club has enquired about the availability of Samuel Umtiti, Clement Lenglet and Eric Garcia in a recent meeting with Barca.

Umtiti is currently on loan at Lecce until the end of the season, while Lenglet is on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.

Garcia, however, remains a part of Xavi’s squad and has produced some impressive performances in recent weeks.

Barca are unlikely to sell the Spaniard, but could listen to offers for Umtiti and Lenglet as they need to get unwanted players of their wage bill in the summer to sign new players into the squad.
