Rating all 7 Barca signing this season from 1-10

Barcelona signed seven players at the start of the season and their arrival contributed immensely to their La Liga success this term. Here's a quick rating of how each of those new signings performed out of 10.

Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker arrived from Bayern Munich and has carried the goalscoring burden at the club since. He's on course to win the Pichichi after netting 20 goals in the league this season.

Rating: 8.5/10

Andreas Christensen. The Danish defender has been a picture of calm and finesse in Barca's defence since arriving as a free agent in the summer. He's played himself into Xavi's reckoning and is easily one of the first names on the teamsheet today.

Rating: 8/10

Jules Kounde. The Frenchman has been absolutely vital for Barca due to his versatility in defence. He's been Barca's right-back for most of the season and also fits in at centre-back when needed. Kounde rarely ever puts a foot wrong for Barca.

Rating: 8/10

Raphinha. The Brazilian has faced criticism since his arrival but 10 goals and 11 assists make a strong argument for Raphinha not having a bad first season. He's been a great addition to Barca's attack and the stats make it clear for all to see.

Rating: 7.5/10

Franck Kessie. The Ivorian has battled to break into Barca's midfield but has been largely unsuccessful. He's been a quality option coming off the bench and proved it by scoring in El Clasico last month.

Rating: 5.5/10

Marcos Alonso. The left-back has also featured as a centre-back and even grabbed a couple of goals. But Alonso has not been the most reliable defender for Barca given his proneness to forced and unforced errors.

Rating: 5/10

Hector Bellerín. The defender was signed for free to cover Barca at right-back but he failed to impress in his first few games. By January Barca were down with him and allowed him to leave for free to Portugal. despite being a massive flop, his name has been included as a La Liga winner though.

Rating: 2/10
