Leo Messi has become the all-time top goalscorer in Europe's top 5 leagues.

The Argentine scored his 496th league goal on Saturday, beating Cristiano Ronaldo with 495.

Messi is about 2 years younger than Ronaldo – this makes the stat even more impressive. It takes Leo 95 minutes to score a goal in Europe's top 5 leagues; in Ronaldo's case, it's 103 mins per goal (and he may never come back to Europe again!).

Who knows, maybe Leo will get the chance to improve his record next season if he comes back to Barcelona.

On Saturday, the 35-year-old became the joint-most decorated player in history by adding one more Ligue 1 title to his trophy cabinet.
