Barcelona have told Lionel Messi to keep waiting for their official offer as they can't feasibly give him one now until more players leave the club, according to Gerard Romero.
Barcelona have been exploring all the possible ways to register the legendary player and Messi's entourage is aware of the complications surrounding his registration.
The only solution is for Messi to keep waiting until Barca sells players to reduce their wage bill and improve their Financial Fair Play standing.
"My opinion on Messi's future? It's all f*cked up," Gerard Romero said on his live stream.
"But nobody is to blame, we shouldn't look for guilty parties. We already know everything... The offer, what has to happen, and the approved feasibility plan."
Barca are confident they can get a deal for Messi done and have made promises to the 35-year-old. But as Fabrizio Romano said, time is running out for Barca with Al Hilal and Inter Miami pushing hard to sign Messi. They have already made huge and tempting offers for Leo, unlike Barca.
