Why Fermin 'cried' in locker room on Sunday explained

Fermin Lopez 'cried' in the locker room of Barcelona Atletic on Sunday, reports Diario Sport's Ferran Correas.

The attacking midfielder was sent off early in the second half against Gimnastic Tarragona, having received two yellow cards.

Fermin received the first yellow for protesting against the referee's decision. After that, he was punished for a repeated foul.

"Fermin was crying after the game. He felt bad because he wanted to help the team," Marc Casado (who also makes Xavi's squad lists) has told the media.

Fermin decided to play for Barca Atletic to gain some match fitness during the international break.

Barca Atletic have lost the game 1-0. Rafa Marquez's side have started the season with one win and two losses.
