'Key hours ahead': Barcelona about to make €10 million loss on Vitor Roque
The credible Matteo Moretto is reporting that Barcelona are about to sell Vitor Roque to Sporting CP for €20 million. The deal is getting hotter by the minute with key hours ahead for an agreement to be struck, Moretto says.
However, Sporting are insisting they will not go beyond their offer but could include other bonuses and add-ons depending on the player's performance.
If Roque leaves Barca for just €20m it will mean that Barca have lost €10m on a €30m investment they made barely 7 months ago.
Roque was brought in as a player who could eventually replace Robert Lewandowski that doesn't seem to be the case now.
The Brazilian has already agreed to sign for the Portuguese club after Barca failed to register him for the start of the La Liga.
If Roque joins Sporting, he will play Champions League football next season.
