Pedri reportedly set to miss Barcelona's clash against Valencia due to illness

Barcelona are set to face Valencia later tonight at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, hoping to return to winning ways in La Liga. However, they may have to do so without midfielder Pedri, who is reportedly ill.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Pedri has been suffering from symptoms like diarrhoea and vomiting, which could rule him out of the match.
Carlos Monfort of Jijantes FC further reports that Pedri went to Ciutat Esportiva for tests but left the facility after just 30 minutes. He did not join the team bus to the hotel, suggesting he is unlikely to feature.
In Pedri’s absence, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick may turn to Frenkie de Jong, Marc Casado, and other midfield options like Gavi, Fermin Lopez, and Pablo Torre to fill the gap.
