Chelsea are targeting to sign a new defender from Inter Milan after receiving Romelu Lukaku’s suggestions, as per Italian outlet Mediaset.
The Premier League side are considering moves for defenders Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni following rave reviews from the Belgian striker.
Chelsea were in the market for a new centre-back in the summer transfer window after selling Kurt Zouma to West Ham United.
However, they weren’t able to complete a move for Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde because of their high demands.
Chelsea are likely to continue their search for a new centre-back in the January transfer window and could make a move for either of the Inter defenders.
