Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently posted a picture of a new tattoo on his arm and explained the special reason behind him.
He tweeted: “Freddie Fu gave me a second chance in my career. I’m still on top just because of him. I owe him everything. Thank you Freddie Fu. Rest in peace."
Fu was a renowned orthopedic surgeon who helped Ibrahimovic recover from the awful knee injury suffered in the 2016/17 season in Man United’s Europa League semi-finals against Celta Vigo.
It was Freddie who operated on his ligaments and helped him back on the pitch with a successful operation. AC Milan have also paid their tribute to the doctor after he passed away at the age of 71 on Saturday.
