A Saudi-led consortium completed the takeover of Newcastle United last week, making them the richest club in the world.
Since then, speculation regarding who the Geordies will sign has been rife,, with names like Martial and Coutinho being linked.
According to Calcio Mercato, Newcastle want to make Aaron Ramsey the first signing of this new era.
Juventus are reportedly very keen on moving his massive £400,000-a-week wages off the books, while Ramsey has been eyeing a Premier League return.
Ex-PL striker Agbonlahor has also backed the move, saying, "I'd go and get Ramsey or someone like that.
"He's still a good player and it isn't working for him at Juventus at the moment.
"I'd target those kinds of players where you don't have to pay them silly money."
