Lionel Messi was subbed off at half-time as PSG came from behind in the second half to beat Lille 2-1.
Mauricio Pochettino has now revealed that the Argentine had a muscle complaint during the game.
"We have to wait. We were with the doctors at halftime and his substitution was a precaution," the PSG coach told Prime Sports France.
"He could not continue. We hope that it's not a big problem."
Messi is yet to score in the league for his new club and it doesn't look great that PSG happened to make a comeback after he left the field.
