Supercomputer predicts Champions League semi-finalists, finalists AND winner

The supercomputer AI developed by FiveThirtyEight has given its prediction over who will this season’s Champions League.

Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Ajax are the teams to have secured qualification into the knockout rounds so far.

The German giants have been given a 25% probability of winning the competition, the most for any team.

Manchester City are behind them with a 19% probability - while Liverpool completes the top-3 favorites with 14%.

Surprisingly, Ajax are the fourth-favorite to win the Champions League after winning all their games so far.

Defending champions Chelsea are behind them, being given a 9% chance of regaining their title.

PSG have only been given a 3% probability of winning the title, while Real Madrid has a 4% chance of being champions – as per the supercomputer.

The likes of Barcelona (2%), Man United (2%), and Juventus (1%) have been given surprising low probability ratings to win the competition.
