'I think Conte is a good coach, but Nuno is a very good coach': Mourinho breaks silence on new Spurs boss

Speaking to Sky Italia, Jose Mourinho said: "I think Antonio Conte is a good coach, but Nuno Espirito Santo is a very good coach.

"Nuno did a fantastic job at Wolverhampton for 4–5 years, not one year or a few months. "That's why I say Tottenham have a very good coach now, but they also had that with Nuno before."

Nuno, who replaced Mourinho as the Spurs manager ahead of the 2021/22 season, was sacked himself last month to make way for Conte to take over.

For what it's worth, Mourinho and Conte have a bitter feud going that dates back to their spells in charge at Manchester United and Chelsea respectively.
