Bayern Munich had a chance to sign Mohamed Salah from AS Roma sometime before the summer of 2017, according to Sport Bild.
However, the Bundesliga giants decided against bringing the Egyptian forward to the club, clearing the path for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp to sign the player.
Salah then moved to Anfield for a fee of £36.5 million, scoring 105 goals in 156 Premier League games and establishing himself as one of the best players in the world.
