Legendary Russian coach Yuri Semin reacts to Lionel Messi’s 7th Ballon d’Or

Yuri Semin, a legendary Russian coach who managed FC Lokomotiv Moscow four different times with a combined stint of 24 years has shared his opinion on Lionel Messi winning the 2021 Ballon d'Or.

“For me, Robert Lewandowski deserved to get 'Golden Ball' Messi is called the best player of the XXI century anyway," the coach said.

Messi's win is not without controversy as several prominent footballing figures have said that Lewandowski deserved to win the award.
