20 games, 17 goals, 7 assists: Barca reportedly set to negotiate deal for Argentina wonderkid

Barcelona will send their representative to Argentina to negotiate the deal for River Plate forward Julian Alvarez, TNT Sports report.

The 21-year-old has bagged 17 goals and provided 7 assists in just 20 appearances for the Argentine side this season.

The player has also made 5 appearances for Argentina's senior side. He was also part of the squad that won the 2021 Copa America.

Alvarez's estimated value is €20m. His release clause, however, is said to be standing at €25m.

Apart from being a striker, Alvarez could also play on both wings.
