Senegal ready to take action against Watford for refusing to release Ismaila Sarr before AFCON

The Senegalese football federation are livid at Watford for not sanctioning Ismaila Sarr’s release for the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Premier League club has made it clear that they don’t with to release the winger as they’re in a relegation battle.

Sarr himself is said to have expressed his desire to join his national team for the prestigious competition.

Senegal’s football federation are now ready to take the case to FIFA and urge them to make Watford release Sarr for the competition.

The AFCON will start on 9th January, with the final set to take place on February 6.
