Madness at AFCON: Comoros play with outfield player instead of goalkeeper, still manage to score

The Africa Cup of Nations continues with more bizarre episodes as the tournament advances into knockout stages.

Comoros had to play without a dedicated goalkeeper against Cameroon in the Round of 16 on Monday because their three shot-stoppers were unavailable due to injuries and Covid-19.

Left-back Chaker Alhadhur had to wear the gloves in the knockout game and Comoros' woes continued shortly after the starting whistle when they were reduced to 10 men just six minutes into the game.

Cameroon won the game 2–1, advancing into the second round but Comoros still managed to score a wonderful goal late into second half and will now be leaving AFCON with their heads held high.
