Erling Haaland held a secret meeting at Adidas headquarters as the German brand aim to make him sign for them, claims Marca.
The Borussia Dortmund forward was joined by his father, former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and his ‘childhood idol’ – former Swansea City forward Michu.
Adidas aimed to use this meeting to convince him to agree a sponsorship deal with them and brought Zidane to it for that purpose.
There is a general feeling that if Haaland was to sign with Adidas, it could positive impact a future move to Real Madrid and make it positively straightforward.
That is because Real and Adidas enjoy a strong relationship with so many of the German brand’s players representing the club.
Haaland is yet to decide whether to sign for Adidas and is also likely to make a decision on his future in the coming months.
