Steaua owner sends multiple buses including first-team bus to Ukraine border to pick up refugees

Romanian football club FC Steaua Bucharest owner George Becali has personally sent multiple team buses to the Ukraine border to pick up refugees.

Over 50,000 Ukrainians have fled the country as Russian forces continue to fight for control of the capital city Kyiv.

FCSB even sent their first-team bus to the border to help ferry the victims of the war to the official team hotel in Bucharest.

Latest reports have claimed that thousands of civilians have died while many more are seriously injured.

There is a severe shortage of food, fuel and other essential items as banks remain shut.

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to hold peace talks at the Belarus border this Sunday.
