Jamie Vardy has revealed a bizarre story about trying to buy a penguin to keep in his garden.
He told The Sun: "I know it sounds really strange but I looked up trying to buy a penguin to have in the garden. It’s the cuteness. I’ve not purchased one."
"However, while searching, I found out how to buy a giraffe and all sorts of exotic animals, legally."
Premiership footballers are known to splash the cash on fast cars and big houses. Vardy however, seems to take things a step even further with the desire to own exotic animals.
The eccentric Leicester City forward would probably face a lot of stick from animal rights groups, as exotic animals like penguins prefer the cold. England is cold but not nearly cold enough so it's probably a good thing Vardy let this idea go.
