Russia's attempt to have World Cup ban uplifted is rejected

The Court of Arbitration for Sport has dismissed Russian Football Union's plea to have their World Cup qualifying ban uplifted.

Russia was set to face Poland but the Polish FA has refused to play the game.

According to Associated Press, this was Russia's third attempt at overturning the ban but has been rejected once again.

Armed aggression refuses to slow down in Ukraine as Vladimir Putin's invasion spans almost a month.

Russia is still destroying Ukrainian cities and killing civilians including kids with all the weapons imaginable. We strongly condemn Putin’s genocide and acts of terror against Ukraine.
