World Cup 2022 squads ranked by average age: Spain, England among youngest teams

The average age of all the participating teams in the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 has been revealed.

As per Transfermarkt, the United States of America national team will have the youngest squad among all the sides in the competition – with an average age of just 23.7 years!

Spain are tied second with Ghana and Ecuador with their average age being around 25.3 years.

England also have one of the youngest squads among all the participating nations with an average age of 25.8 years.

Portugal will have the oldest squad in the tournament with an average age of about 28 years, mostly due to the likes of 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo and 39-year-old Pepe in the team.
