Tracy Brown of Wales' official LGBTQ+ fan group told the BBC: "Just saying it's safe while a competition is on doesn't seem right.

"So FIFA said you're safe to be yourself for the period of the World Cup, but when I leave there's still an LGBTQ+ community who pretty much live in hiding.

"They're not safe and I have to stand by my values. I want to go to a country where I feel safe and welcome all the time."

I agree with you 100%...Football and Politics shouldn't mix...if he really wants to go and watch football games he is welcome but if it's the other agenda then the law in Qatar will catch up to him

I am sure you’re safe to come as a football fan. If you’re really a football fan, you’ll leave your political agenda at home. Unless your true intention is not watching football and supporting your national team but campaigning LGBTQ+. Some people just love creating problems for themselves and then blaming them on others.

Qatar won't change their values because you are a gay and want to come for the world cup event in their country. With or without you and your members, the competition with hold. Please separate your lifestyle and your values from football.
