Paulo Dybala inserts €20m release clause in AS Roma contract after summer move

AS Roma have been forced to insert a €20m release clause in Paulo Dybala’s contract after signing him, claims Gianluca di Marzio.

That means any side can trigger the clause by paying the low amount and signing him in the near future.

Dybala’s representatives asked for this clause with every club he negotiated with, which is why Inter Milan and Napoli turned him down.

But, Roma can block his exit if the release clause is activated by raising the Argentine forward’s salary or extending his contract.

Dybala has signed a three-year deal with the Italian side and will be the main force in Jose Mourinho’s attack this season.
