Borussia fans react to their team cruelly losing Bundesliga title on final day of the season (video)

Borussia Dortmund had to beat Mainz at home or at least see Bayern drop points away at Cologne to win Bundesliga. Neither happened.

For all Dortmund efforts, they were 2-0 down within 24 minutes and only managed to equalise past the injury time of the second half. It was not enough as Bayern won their game.

Despite the cruel outcome, Dortmund fans in the famous Yellow Wall stand and outside it showed their team love at the final whistle:

Their head coach Edin Terzic was in tears in front of those fans. He is a boyhood Dortmund fan and a manager since last season but he'd also worked in other roles at the club since 2018:

Both Bayern and Dortmund finished with as little as 71 points (the lowest since the 2009-10 season) but the former won on goal difference.
