Pep Guardiola claims there is no special secret to his success other than coaching the best teams and having the best footballers.
Guardiola is quoted by Football Daily: "I'm going to tell you the secret of my success: Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Man City. Messi, Lewandowski, Haaland, Aguero. This is the success.
"I love my mum and grandfather. But with him, I don't win the Champions League."
Ironically, Pep is often criticised for only working with big names as quite a few football fans want to see him do it with low-budget or midtable teams at best.
Guardiola has won about all there is with each club he's managed although one trophy has eluded him since 2011 - the Champions League.
He'll have the chance to put it right on 10 June 2023 when Man City face Inter in the Istanbul final.
