PSG offered Donnarumma and Verratti in swap deal for Man City player

According to Fabrizio Romano's Daily Briefing, Paris Saint-Germain made a swap deal offer involving two players for Bernardo Silva. However, in August, Silva extended his contract with Manchester City until 2026.

The Portuguese attacking midfielder expressed his commitment to the club, emphasizing the opportunity to continue winning. During his six years at Etihad, Silva has clinched numerous titles including five Premier League trophies, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and the coveted Champions League.

It's known that PSG had a keen interest in Silva this summer, and they were close to securing a deal. PSG's sporting director, Luis Campos, has a prior working relationship with Silva from their time at Monaco.

Despite PSG's efforts, Pep Guardiola stepped in to ensure Silva remained with Manchester City for this season. This decision likely brought relief to Man City fans.

PSG really wanted to get Bernardo Silva on their team. In fact, they were so determined that they were willing to offer players like Marco Verratti and Gianluigi Donnarumma as part of the deal.

However, Manchester City had a different plan. They wanted a substantial transfer fee and also had their eyes on 17-year-old PSG talent Warren Zaire-Emery. So, it seems both sides had their own priorities in mind.
