Mohammed Kudus to captain Ghana for first time

West Ham United's Mohammed Kudus will make his debut as Ghana's captain in today's must-win Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan in Accra.
The Black Stars announced Kudus' appointment on social media, tasking him with leading the team in their pivotal clash.
Ghana's FA President, Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku, emphasized the importance of the match, saying: "The pressure is on, and we need to deliver."
With only one point from two group matches, Ghana trails Sudan and Angola in the standings. Kudus' leadership will be crucial in reversing their fortunes.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder boasts 36 caps and 11 goals for Ghana.
