Bayern Munich have had the 'initial informal talks' with Eintracht Frankfurt over Omar Marmoush, reports Florian Plettenberg.
Eintracht want €50-60m for the player.
There are no official agreements or negotiations yet as Bayern continue monitoring the forward. The Bavarians' sporting director, Max Eberl, is said to be a big fan of the 25-year-old.
Marmoush is Bundesliga's second-highest goalscorer so far this season with 10, only behind Harry Kane with 11. His current deal with Eintracht Frankfurt expires in 2027.
