Manchester City have been dealt a heavy blow in the Champions League as they lost to Sporting 4-1.
This is the third defeat for Man City in the space of one week: previously, they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Tottenham and beaten by Bournemouth in the Premier League with the same 2-1 scoreline.
According to Whoscored, this is the first time Pep Guardiola's side lost three competitive games in a row since April 2018.
Man City's manager has entered the final year of his contract, and there is a strong chance he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
