'I think I've improved quite a bit and a lot has been down to him': Third-choice keeper Caoimhin Kelleher credits Alisson Becker for helping him better his game

For 21-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher, there is no place better to learn the craft of goalkeeping than Melwood.

Why? Because best in the world Alisson Becker trains there, and Kelleher watches him in training and picks his brain as he aims to improve and reach the top himself.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the Irishman said: "To be honest in the last year, I think I’ve improved quite a good bit in that part of the game.

A lot has been down to him, just watching him and seeing what he does in certain situations in games. Speaking to him as well, he’ll speak to me on what stuff I can improve on, so it’s been a huge help."

Kelleher is highly-rated by the coaches in the academy and the lad has a bright future ahead of himself if he continues to keep his head down and work hard.

Of course, training with the best goalkeeper in the world can only help!
