'Welcome home, you'll never walk alone': Nantes confirm Pedro Chirivella's transfer

FC Nantes have confirmed the signing of Pedro Chirivella from Liverpool on a free transfer.

The Spaniard's deal with the Reds expires in June and he has already been introduced as a Nantes player on the Ligue 1 outfit's official website.

On Twitter, Nantes greeted Chirivella with a quote from the Reds' anthem:

Pedro Chirivella joined the Liverpool Academy at the age of 16. He signed his first pro deal with the Reds in 2015 and mostly featured for the Reds' youth teams.

He also had several loan spells at Go Ahead Eagles, Willem II and Extremadura. This season, the Spaniard registered 12 games with the Liverpool U23s (1 goal, 2 assists) and 6 domestic cup outings.
