- Naby Keita – 9/10
Against Brighton, Naby registered his second consecutive assist. Besides, he took an active part in the attack which led to Jordan Henderson's goal. Overall, it was Naby at his best, with his silky touch, impressive forward runs, and everything you want from a creative, attack-minded midfielder.
Replaced after an hour but for sure, it wasn't his last start of the season.
- Mohamed Salah – 9/10
Two goals, one assist and Mo will be gutted not to score a hat-trick! 19 goals in the Premier League this season and still good chances to scoop the third consecutive Golden Boot. Can you believe some people called him a one-season wonder?
- Virgil van Dijk – 8.5/10
How many times have we branded the Dutchman imperious, towering, dominating this season? Well, this was Van Dijk's typical dominating performance. Virgil definitely knows how to celebrate his birthday in style.
- Neco Williams – 7/10
This was a big night for the Welshman who got his first PL start and you could feel he was buzzing. On the bright side, Neco was going forward a lot and his block denied Brighton a seemingly inevitable goal.
However, his over-excitement led to being caught by Tariq Lamptey at least twice and resulted in a booking. Subbed at half-time as a precaution but still, for the first Premier League start, it was more than decent.
