Unless you were living under a rock for the past year, you might be aware that Liverpool had a centre-back crisis last season.
Jurgen Klopp fielded over 20 centre-back partnerships across the season due to continuous injuries to...well, all of our centre-backs!
Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip missed almost the entire season with injuries, whereas even new signings like Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak couldn't escape an injury.
However, the Reds have now signed Ibrahima Konate and expect all of their main CB's to be fit for the start of next season (fingers crossed that all of them remain fit!).
Van Dijk, of course, walks into the starting XI when he's fit - but the question is, who do we pair him with now?
Assuming that Nat Phillips stays at the club, Klopp has at least 4 good options to choose from for Van Dijk's partner.
