Liverpool finally cash in on 22-year-old goalie Grabara, transfer fee revealed
18
Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara has Anfield on a permanent transfer to FC Copenhagen, the club have announced.
The Reds sold the promising Polish keeper for £3m after 5 years at Anfield.
Grabara never made a senior appearance for Liverpool since joining the Academy in the summer of 2016.
The 22-year-old was a regular for the Under 18s-23s and was shipped on loan spells to the likes of Huddersfield and Aarhus where he spent the 2020/21 season.
There were expectations in some quarters that Liverpool would keep Grabara as the third choice this season having trained with Jurgen Klopp's first team on a number of occasions.
Instead, Caoimhin Kelleher is set to be the third-choice keeper behind Alisson and Adrian.
