Why Liverpool sent home 6 youngsters from training camp in Evian — 1 minute explainer

Jurgen Klopp sent home six youngsters from Liverpool's training base in Evian on Monday.

The players sent home are: Goalkeeper Harvey Davies, right-back Conor Bradley, centre-back Billy Koumetio, midfielders Tyler Morton and Jake Cain. Striker Mateusz Musialowski was also sent home.

The gaffer took the step because more senior players have joined the group.

The likes of Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino, Fabinho and Thiago have joined the rest of the group in France.

Skipper, Jordan Henderson is still the only absentee in the first-team squad. He's expected to join the squad before the game against Athletic club next week.
