Liverpool have recently sold Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi seems to be completely out of favour at the club as well.
Despite impressing at times this season, rumours have persisted of another fringe player in Oxlade-Chamberlain also potentially exiting the club.
However, ex-PL player Nigel Jemson doesn't believe so, telling This Is Fubol: “I just don’t see him going.
“You talk about Shaqiri going, someone like that, you can’t let three or four of your squad players go. How do you bring the same sort of quality in with the money they’re talking about them going for?
“It’s not good business that, for me, so I’d be very, very surprised to see him go.”
If he can stay fit and get back to his best, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could prove to be the dynamic presence Liverpool need but the clock is certainly ticking for the Englishman.
