OFFICIAL: Jordan Henderson signs new long-term contract

Jordan Henderson has signed a new contract with Liverpool, the club's website confirms.

The captain has put pen to paper on a long-term deal with the Reds. According to reports, the agreement will be effective until 2025.

The 31-year-old has celebrated a decade at the club this year. Since his arrival from Sunderland in 2011, he has made 394 appearances for the Reds and scored 30 goals.

Henderson led the Reds to their first league title in the Premier League era in the 2019-20 season. He also won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup as the Liverpool captain.
