'He would have scored against 10 men': Genk manager urges Liverpool to sign his striker

"Did you see Liverpool against Chelsea? Liverpool have the best strikers, but none with the same profile as Onuachu," Genk manager Dimitri de Conde told Het Belang van Limburg, as cited by the Liverpool Echo.

"He would have scored against ten men.

"I'm not saying that Paul would play 90 minutes every week at Liverpool, but a club like that could really use him."

Casually telling another club to sign your player is not really an everyday thing in the world of football, so let's take a look at Onauchu's profile.

Paul Onuachu, 29, is a Nigerian striker. What makes him stand out—quite literally—is his height. Onuachu is 2.01m, or 6ft 7 inches, tall, and it makes him a dominant force in the opposition's box.

He has scored 46 goals in 72 appearances for Genk so far. He was particularly impressive in the previous campaign, netting 33 goals in 38 league games.

Liverpool indeed struggled to create goal-scoring chances against 10-man Chelsea, but we're not particularly sure we need someone like Peter Crouch in our pacey forward line.
