Calciomercato: Liverpool send scouts to watch 2 players during Juventus vs Fiorentina (reliability: 3 stars)

Liverpool scouts were present at the Allianz Stadium last Saturday when Juventus beat Fiorentina 1–0.

According to Calciomercato, a tier-three source, the Reds were watching Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic ahead of the January transfer window.

Juve winger Chiesa and Fiorentina striker Vlahovic have both been linked with a move to Anfield although one of the options clearly looks to be more probable than the other at the moment.

Chiesa has established himself as a key player under Max Allegri following Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Manchester United. Vlahovic, meanwhile, is refusing to sign a new contract with his deal expiring in 2023.
