Liverpool and Manchester City are both reportedly interested in signing Hwang Hee-chan after his performances for Wolves this season.

The South Korean footballer is on loan from RB Leipzig and has scored four goals in eight Premier League games so far, leading the Wolves attack with Raul Jimenez.

The Mirror claims that the Reds have been scouting Hwang for quite some time - he famously dropped Virgil van Dijk to the ground with a shot fake before scoring against Liverpool in the Champions League back in 2019.

And according to reports in Germany, Hwang turned down a move to Anfield in favour of Leipzig in 2020.

However, Wolves are aware of Liverpool and City's interest and they have an option to buy the player, which they could exercise to ward off any suitors.

It remains to be seen if the Reds make an opening move for the forward.
