Liverpool made a bit of a meal of this game in the middle but the Reds walked away deserving winners after scoring 4 goals in the end.
They started the game brilliantly, getting 4 shots in the first 9 minutes of the game, only to be denied by poor finishing and Pickford.
Didn't last long though, with Jordan Henderson opening the scoring with a sumptuous finish.
Mo Salah doubled Liverpool's lead after calmly lifting the ball past Pickford and the game looked over.
Everton had other plans though, and took advantage of Liverpool's lax play to get a goal that made things nervy for the Reds.
The start of the second half saw the game hanging in the balance with no team able to take it by the collar.
One can only deny Mo Salah for so long though, the Egyptian King again proved to be the difference.
Salah caught Coleman in possession at the half-line and sprinted all the way into the box before coolly slotting it in.
Diogo Jota made it 4 with a sublime turn and a wallop of a finish, leaving the Reds to see it out in extreme ease. A brilliant derby win overall!

👀Brief summary of the first half:
Liverpool came roaring out of the blocks against Everton as they have against multiple teams this season, creating chance after chance.
Mo Salah had an effort go above the bar and one saved by Pickford, while Matip missed a free header that he should have scored.
The breakthrough wasn't far away though, with Jordan Henderson getting his revenge for the disallowed winner last season by curling in an incredible shot from the edge of the box.
Liverpool didn't show any signs of letting up and the skipper was involved again, finding Mo Salah who effortlessly doubled Liverpool's lead.
Everton looked rattled, with fans leaving after 20 minutes and their players getting booked for diving and making intense tackles.
The Reds were still dominating though and perhaps that made them complacent, with Everton taking advantage.
Richarlison was allowed to turn in midfield and he punished the Reds for that by finding Demarai Gray, who finished by tucking it under Alisson.
Jurgen Klopp's side can get the job done in the second half but defensive resoluteness is an absolute must for the Reds now.
