Liverpool fell behind and ultimately lost to a winner by Ademola Lookman in the second half against Leicester.
Virgil van Dijk was asked if he felt that the Reds could have done better defensively to stop the forward from scoring.
"I think he had a little bit too much space at first and we let him use his strength – he’s a good dribbler and unfortunately the goal went in," Virgil told liverpoolfc.com
"But still, we had moments that we reacted in, we created chances and should have done better but overall I think Leicester can be proud of their performance and you have to give them credit as well."
Lookman scored at the near post after taking a few silky touches but the Reds could definitely have done better to prevent him from scoring.
If the goals aren't going to go in, LFC need to find a way to start keeping clean sheets once again, as that can be a major problem for the side.
