The reliable journalist Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports said of his future: "Gini Wijnaldum would like to return to the 

"I'm not saying he wants to return today, this week or even in the summer, but he would like to return and we keep being told he would like to play for 

"They're a club he admired a lot when he was growing up. It's definitely something that appeals to him."

Gini is a modern-day Liverpool legend, appearing in over 250 games for the Reds and helping them to win the Champions League and Premier League.

There are 2 reasons for this:
our team is unique in every way. 
Firstly The love of the fans and atmosphere we create can have the confidence of an average player make him play at very high world class standard that they begin to believe it’s because they are world class as a player.

Secondly Liverpool has always built players around A footballing philosophy rather than building the football philosophy around the players.

Because of these 2 alone a player can be world class with us. They let it get to their head thinking it’s all about them. They leave and find out they are actually average at best.
