There's very little doubt now that we are witnessing an exceptional Liverpool team, with its squad probably the strongest ever. Still, some individuals keep stealing the limelight.
Take Thiago, for example. The Spaniard has come into form and showed why Liverpool decided to step away from their recruitment policy and sign him in 2020.
One particular episode from the Man City game made the Liverpool fans rave on social media.
Here, Thiago had to contest the ball with Mahrez but still managed to control it with his chest.
After that, he only went and made a 60-yeard pass to find Salah on the run - you can see Mo on the left side of the screenshot below.
And just look where Salah received the pass!
No wonder the fans are astounded by Thiago's technique - not for the first time, either.
