Ex-Red Taiwo Awoniyi set to join Nottingham in club-record fee, Liverpool will receive 10% of sale

Nottingham Forest are closing on signing former Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The fee is set to be around €20m, which will be a club-record transfer for the newly-promoted side.

Liverpool have a 10% sell-on clause in the deal when they sold Awoniyi to Union Berlin. Therefore, they will receive €2m from this sale.

Awoniyi really found his footing in the Bundesliga, scoring 15 goals in 31 appearances. Liverpool sold him for around €7.5 to Berlin last summer.
