It's been widely reported that Liverpool have completed their business when it comes to new signings after completing moves for Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay.
However, there's a strong feeling among a large portion of the Liverpool fans that Liverpool should not stop there, especially as they are not done with sales and could invest more funds into getting a midfielder.
Michael Roughley: "It’s not rocket science that if you offload players then you need to bring in reinforcements, if we would've replaced Gini then we would've won the quadruple. But unfortunately, we bloody didn’t so we need a midfielder, if we don’t get a decent, tough, all-around midfielder then we will struggle to achieve the unthinkable."
HKICSHAZ187: "If we get one or two key players out like the season before last we will struggle. It's a f**king marathon of a season so we need strength in depth."
Welsh Red: "Looking at the net spend, in today's money, it's not a great deal. If we sell Neco and Nat, we will almost break even, and gain some classy players in the process. Maybe we could have tempted Dortmund to part with Bellingham."
Taha Memon: "If we sell Neco and Nat for £20m + combined, we have basically spent just around £10m in net spend. Surely we must invest then to sign a midfielder!"
Krzysiek Zając: "Who's our cover for Fabinho? Am I crazy or do we literally have no one there?"
Boy Mngomezulu: "We still need one strong striker and a midfielder if we want to compete with City, if not so we still gonna be a laughing matter even this coming season. We beg you Klopp please sign players"
Satpal: "We need cover in midfield. One great signing doesn't make it a great transfer window when you have lost a great player in Mane and 2 bench players who score goals when they come on. We need cover for Fabinho as he is a key player and will end up playing every game."
Clemzee: "We need goal-scoring midfielders that can score at least 10 goals in a season. I think that's the reason why City beat Liverpool to the league, goals from their midfielders."
